all articles submitted to the journal "Natural resources, environment and society" and corresponding to the profile, concepts and topics of the journal are reviewed. It is the prerogative of the editorial Board and the editorial Board to make a decision on compliance/non-compliance of the articles with the profile, concept and subject of the journal. On the basis of reviewing the editorial Board makes a final decision on the publication (or rejection) of articles. The names of the reviewers are not disclosed. Editorial reviews are for internal use only. In case of refusal to publish the editorial Board does not enter into discussions with the authors.

Statement of the scientific problem, its relevance in terms of solving scientific problems that relate to the problems and profile of the journal.

Originality, independence, novelty, interesting and/or debatable approaches.

Theoretical justification of the chosen topic.

Compliance with methodological and methodical culture (description of the object and subject, goals and objectives of the study, hypotheses, samples, time, initiators of the study, etc.).

level of literary text, accuracy of expression, conciseness, harmony and consistency of argumentation, as well as compliance with editorial requirements (see design Requirements).

the Decision on acceptance for publication is made within 2 months from the date of registration of the manuscript in the editorial office. The selection of materials for the current issue is determined by the editorial plans.
